Abstract

    The aim of the research is to know the level of inclusion of scientific thinking skills in Arabic language books for the preparatory stage? To achieve the objectives of the research, the descriptive analytical approach was used using the (content analysis) method. The study population consisted of Arabic language books for the preparatory stage scheduled to be taught for the academic year (2023, 2024).To achieve the objectives of this research, the researcher built a standard that includes indicators that show the extent of the availability of scientific thinking skills in the book (sampling the research). The results were interpreted. Scientific thinking skills were not included in the content of the Arabic language books for the fourth and fifth grades of preparatory school, while they were included in the content of the Arabic language book for the sixth grade of preparatory school.The researcher recommended the necessity of directing curriculum designers to rebuild The content of the Arabic language books for the fourth and fifth grades, and their literary design in a way that takes into account the inclusion of more scientific thinking skills in balanced proportions without neglecting any of them. The research proposed conducting a study to determine the level of including
