Abstract

   The aim of the present research is to identify the effectiveness of proposed strategy dependent on the Green chemistry to improvement the environmental values of the students in the educational psychological department. For achieving this goal, the researchers undertook many procedures. The researchers selected the students of the first stage in the educational psychological department in the educational college for human science to be a sample of research. They selected the environmental education to implement the proposed strategy.

The researchers prepared the steps of the proposed strategy, based on the principles of the green chemistry. For checking this validity of this strategy by presenting this strategy to many subject-matter specialists, who confirmed that it is suitable and applicable.

According to the research’s instruments, The researcher had constructed the scale of the environmental values after reviewing the related previous researches and existing scales. Because of the development in the environmental side, the researchers proposed to design new scale more related to achieve the research objective.  The scale consists of 25 items, each covering five environmental values, with five items for each value. Its validity and reliability were confirmed by presenting it to a group of experts and referees in the field .

The researchers selected randomly one of the first stage class to be experimental group which will study based on the new proposed strategy. The pre-test by using  the scale of the environment value scale on the research group to evaluate the of \ environmental values level before the experimental.

The researchers employed suitable statistically methods for studying by assist the statistically program SPSS. Upon the results of experiments, the researchers arrived to set outputs, conclusions, recommendations and proposals. Among this recommendation is that necessity to integrate the principles of the green chemistry in the curricula of the educational psychological sciences and chemistry for different studied stages
