Abstract

 This research aims to identify:_

• the Emotion Reactivity of students in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences.
• the significance of differences in Emotion Reactivity based on gender (male-female). To achieve these objectives, the researcher adopted the Emotional Response Scale, based on the theoretical model of Matthew Nook and colleagues (2008). The scale consisted of 21 items and was administered to a sample of 150 university students of both genders (male-female), randomly selected for the 2025/2026 academic year. The results showed the following:
• 1- University students possess Emotion Reactivity.
• 2- There are statistically significant differences in Emotion Reactivity based on gender (male-female), favoring females.
