Abstract

This study aims to clarify and explore the meaning of Khums in the Noble Qur’anic text, explain its implications, and present the views of Qur’anic exegetes. The research concludes that Khums is a financial system with religious and social dimensions, and that its interpretive understanding contributes to clarifying the philosophy of Islamic legislation and its objectives in achieving justice and social solidarity. It also highlights the relationship between the Qur’anic text and the juristic rulings derived from it.
