Abstract

This research sought to provide an impartial and unbiased observation

of a phenomenon that found its way into the world of literature during the Umayyad and Abbasid periods, namely It is a phenomenon of  Anomie, This manifested itself in two main directions, one frivolous and immoral, and the other serious and purposeful.

These two trends indicate spontaneity in the frivolous trend and mass political awareness in the serious, purposeful trend.

The moral judgment on them is left to history.
