الألفاظ الدالة على بقية الـزمن في معجم تهذيب اللغة للأزهـــــريّ (370هـ)

Abstract

        This research aims to monitor the words “rest of time” in the Tahdheeb al-Lughah dictionary by Al-Azhari, which indicate the rest of the night, day, and month, and study them according to the theory of semantic fields after collecting them, showing the semantic relationships between these words, such as synonymy, association, opposition, and inclusion, limited to the words that carry the meaning of rest, and they were arranged. These words are based on the letters of the alphabet and the roots of the binary, three-letter, and four-letter letters.
