Abstract

This research addresses the topic of thematic interpretation of environmental issues in the Qur’an. It aims to examine how Qur’anic texts can provide practical solutions and guidelines to confront contemporary environmental challenges such as pollution, climate change, and the depletion of natural resources. The study relies on an analytical thematic approach to the Qur’anic texts, focusing on linking environmental concepts in the Qur’an with modern challenges, and extracting legislative and ethical principles that promote moderation and the preservation of ecological balance. The research concludes that the Qur’an offers a comprehensive vision for managing natural resources, establishes environmental protection as a religious and ethical duty, and that the thematic interpretation of Qur’anic texts can serve as an effective tool for developing sustainable environmental policies and strategies in accordance with the objectives of Islamic law, thereby ensuring sustainability for present and future generations.
