Abstract

The theater dealt with many titles and humanitarian issues that affect the life of the individual in particular and society in general, as it is closer to the receiving audience and was able to express the dimensions, values ​​and concepts of mental protest tendencies and its rebellious and rejectionist effectiveness by default. Form national ideas imbued with human rights that human rights charters called for.

Whatever the expression and focus on the contradictions and conflicts that the lived reality suffers from and that the show and theatrical text broadcast through the character (the protester, the objector) taking from slogans and values ​​​​as starting points to achieve goals and objectives, the appeal of attitudes towards discovering everything that is positive by opening the mental imagination and the moving mentality that The individual enjoys towards himself and his identity and emphasizing the image of a serious quest for reform and change. Social and political issues often form a link with the environment and the society in which chaos and tyranny prevail. We find that theater is one of the doors to detection and change of social, political, economic and cultural variables through a proposal for protest and rejection through text and dramatic action. On stage, according to symbolic and material standards, behaviors, and formulas that express social and political movements, which are a vast space for freedom and democracy.

The problem of the current research dealt with these concepts on the basis of their mental data that have a direct influencing intentional effectiveness. The problem of the current research focused on the following question:

((How the theater of protest presents the final significance of the (circular) social conflict, a conservative revolutionary trend that gives the characteristics of a change to reality)).

The importance of the research was also evident in dealing with the attempt to reveal the intellectual and psychological aspects of the character of the protesting hero in the theater.

The aim of the research included revealing the effectiveness of mental protest in the Iraqi theater, as for the temporal limit of the research 2012 and the spatial limit of Iraq - Baghdad, and the chapter concluded by defining the terms.

As for the second chapter, it included two sections: the first topic: reading protest intellectually and psychologically, and the second topic: the concept of protest in the world theater. The research concluded with the most important indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework and then previous studies. As for the third chapter, it included the research procedures and the research sample, which included a theatrical presentation of the Facebook play and an analytical approach in addition to the results, conclusions and recommendations.
