Abstract
The phenomenon of human trafficking is one of the most dangerous social phenomena in our time, and despite international and regional efforts and agreements that have been put in place to combat it, technological development, scientific progress, the abolition of borders between countries, and social, economic and political openness contributed to its spread until it became an organized crime run by international criminal gangs and increased Its spread in developing countries, and this was confirmed by the theory of the global risk society of the sociologist Ulrich Beck, and because Iraq is one of the developing countries, the Iraqi society has suffered from human trafficking crimes in light of the turbulent social conditions experienced by individuals, in our current research we used the descriptive analytical approach in monitoring and following up the phenomenon Human trafficking by relying on sources and books that dealt with the theory of the global risk community and its employment on Iraqi society.
