Abstract

  The Holy Qur’an contains between its two covers a great linguistic wealth of Arabic words and rhetorical devices. Among these words are those that are semantically linked to one another in terms of usage, such as the words scale, measure, weight, balance, and other words related to scales, Which indicates justice and equality, in addition to other meanings, and it has been mentioned in multiple forms, in the contexts of the wise remembrance, and it was the purpose of this research to enumerate them, It traces its lexical roots and explains its connotations, both within and outside the context, while pointing out some of the various linguistic aspects as a whole.
