Abstract

 Praise be to God who taught Adam the Names completely in addition Gratitude

, and gave him speech in speech, writing, and clarification, and bequeathed to him knowledge and truth as guidance and clarification

, and may blessings and peace be upon Muhammad bin Abdullah, the mercy bestowed and the blessing bestowed upon him, and upon his family and companions, and may peace be upon him greatly.

The research deals with the Holy Qur’anic style of mentioning people and things by other than their names the truth and the purpose behind that, as appears from the Holy Qur’anic context. Upon study, I found a great diversity in the rhetorical styles of those called by other than their names in the Qur’an, and a great richness in connotation and meaning. These styles are almost one of the authentic Qur’anic features. In the discourse of the verses, with their diverse rhetorical and declarative meanings, we ask God for success and guidance
