Abstract

coexistence in the Neo-Assyrian Period (911-612 BC) is one of the important topics in Assyrian society, which like other ancient societies consisted of a diversity of components and social classes that composed it as society consisted of diverse national components; namely the ruling class and the ruled class. Therefore, the research came to shed light on the societal coexistence between those different ethnic, religious and intellectual components living in Assyria, after the Assyrians deported the residents of some neighboring and distant countries and regions that rebelled against them, as the population of an entire region moved from a place very far from their original homeland to a new region completely different from them in Language, religion, customs and traditions, and this is what made all the Assyrian and non-Assyrian population settle in those provinces that fall within the sovereignty of the Assyrian state and live under its protection. They united all the Assyrian regions and provinces into one state, and merged the deported population with the population of the country to which they moved to make them a nation. Unified with similar customs and traditions. Therefore, this policy worked to achieve the concept of societal coexistence in the Neo-Assyrian Period (911-612 BC).
