الآراء النقدية والأدبية في كتاب خزانة الادب ولب لباب لسان العرب لعبد القادر البغدادي ( ت 1093 هـ)
Abstract
Reading and discussing the library of Arabic literary and linguistic heritage is an engaging endeavor that challenges researchers and compels them to equip themselves with various critical tools to navigate the depths of creative and classificatory heritage texts. In this context, critical reading seeks to uncover the hidden aspects of significant texts, particularly Khazanat al-Adab wa-Lubb Lubāb Lisan al-Arab by Abd al-Qadir al-Baghdadi. This encyclopedic heritage work primarily addresses grammatical issues and disputes among grammarians.
However, a deeper analytical approach aims to provide an alternative reading that uncovers critical perspectives and dissenting viewpoints within the established norms of literary and critical discourse, alongside the well-known grammatical debates. Consequently, this study investigates the critical perspectives of al-Baghdadi by tracing the literary and critical views embedded within the different sections of this vast heritage work.
The study attempts to apply critical analysis to examine how al-Baghdādī articulates his critical opinions, challenges other literary figures, and engages with scholars of poetic and prose criticism. Additionally, it explores his stance on grammatical disputes. This research has yielded several findings, including an effort to trace the historical origins of transmitted literary accounts, investigate the origins of poets, and challenge the opinions of prominent critics of his time. These findings highlight al-Baghdadi’s critical acumen, alongside his deep engagement with grammatical issues and debates among grammarians.
