Abstract

This research examines the views of Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Isa al-Rumani on matters of thought and belief, drawing on what Sheikh al-Tusi cited in his commentary, al-Tibyan fi Tafsir al-Quran, in addition to what was available from the twelfth volume of the author's commentary. The research focused on clarifying al-Rumani's doctrinal positions, particularly with regard to the oneness of God Almighty and His attributes, and with regard to divine justice and the theological issues that arise from them.
