Abstract

Electronic Terrorism has recently become one of the major arising issues that people fear as a consequence of individuals and societies becoming vulnerable to terrorist attacks via the Internet. The risks of said attacks are growing by the minute, and modern technology alone cannot provide people with the protection they seek from electronic terrorist operations which have caused great harm to individuals; organizations; and countries. To reach an explanation of the value Legislative Jurisprudence provides in dealing with contemporary arising issues and changes, this research entitled " Mechanisms of Sharia jurisprudence in addressing contemporary issues - electronic terrorism as a model" was undertaken; as the need for a religious reference and grounding is indispensable in this case. In the current research, I explore the concepts of Legal Jurisprudence and Electronic Terrorism from a linguistic and contextual point of view. I also address the tools on which Legal Jurisprudence relies when tackling terrorism. Finally, I conclude my research with a discussion of the most significant results and recommendations of the research      .
