Abstract

In this research, the researchers began to trace the life of a personality who combined the qualities of a historian and a social critic of many of the practices of Iranian society in religious rituals specifically, namely Ahmed Kasravi. The researchers reviewed Kasravi’s works, which varied and had different names, in addition to identifying the newspapers and magazines that Kasravi published during his life.

Which prompted the researchers to divide the research into two axes, the first axis : his birth and upbringing until his assassination, the second axis : his intellectual effects, and following these axes there was a conclusion, the most prominent of which was: that Kasravi strove hard to show himself as a patriot, far from his Azeri nationalism ; As a result of his opposition to Sheikh Muhammad Al-Khayabani’s calls

for secession from Iran, but he venerated his nationalism over the rest of the nationalities residing in his country, for example but not limited to the role and influence of the Azerbaijanis in general and the Tabrizis in particular in the Iranian Constitutional Revolution (1905-1911 AD).
