Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify:
- The level of knowledge accumulation among faculty members in the Department of Chemistry - College of Education.
- The level of scientific productivity among faculty members in the Department of Chemistry - College of Education.
- The level of knowledge accumulation among faculty members in the Department of Physics - College of Education.
- The level of scientific productivity among faculty members in the Department of Physics - College of Education.
- Revealing the correlation between knowledge accumulation and scientific productivity among faculty members in the Department of Chemistry.
- Revealing the correlation between knowledge accumulation and scientific productivity among faculty members in the Department of Physics.
The current research was determined by the teaching of the Department of Physics and Chemistry from the pure specialization only for the academic year (2023-2024) AD, and the correlational descriptive research approach was adopted, and the size of the research sample reached (59) teaching by (27) for the Department of Chemistry and, and (32) for the Department of Physics the researchers have prepared two tools to achieve the objectives of the research, namely the cognitive accumulation scale consisting of (12) items and the scale of scientific productivity consisting of (20) items, and the apparent honesty and the sincerity of the construction of the two standards were verified,As well as calculating the discriminatory strength of their paragraphs and correlation coefficients for them and finding the value of the stability coefficient for the metricians using the Cronbach alpha coefficient and the method of retesting, the two research tools were applied in the academic year (2023-2024), and the statistical analysis of the data was conducted and processed with the help of the statistical bag program for the social sciences (SPSS-21), and the following results were reached:
- The teachers of the Department of Chemistry have a high accumulation of knowledge.
- The teachers of the Department of Chemistry have good scientific productivity.
- The teachers of the Department of Physics have a high accumulation of knowledge.
- The teachers of the Department of Physics have good scientific productivity.
- The correlation between the accumulation of knowledge and the scientific productivity of the teachers of the Department of Chemistry is a real direct relationship. The researchers also came up with a set of recommendations and proposals.
- The correlation between the accumulation of knowledge and the scientific productivity of the teachers of the Department of Physics is a real direct relationship.
