اللون والمكان الأليف في ثلاثية أرض السواد ــ دراسة نقدية ــ
Keywords:
أرض السواد, المكان, اللّون, الأليف, المكان الأليفAbstract
The research presents a reading of the relationship between the familiar place and color, and the manifestations of this relationship in the trilogy "The Land of Blackness" by Abdul Rahman Munif, as the place is considered one of the pillars of the narrative structure in the novel, but it is striking that this narrative pillar is coupled with color, in a way that color becomes the expression of the essence of the place and its identity, which gives the novel structure expressive, aesthetic and creative energy, as Abdul Rahman seeks to employ color to reveal the essence of the familiar place, draw its dimensions, present it to the reader, and its effect on the novel structure, and in its relationship with other narrative pillars.
According to the descriptive approach supported by reading and mechanisms of narrative analysis, the research was distributed over five axes, the first axis included color and the sacred place, the second axis: color and historical place, the third axis: color and natural place, the fourth axis: color and creatures, and the fifth axis: color and other places.
