Abstract
This study aims to explore the impact of using active learning skills on the performance of English language students in writing skills in the English language subject for preparatory stage students· The study was conducted on a random sample of students studying English at the preparatory stage, where educational exercises based on active learning skills were provided· The study used quantitative methods to analyze data collected from tests and evaluations conducted on students before and after educational exercises· The results showed that the use of active learning skills had a significant positive impact on students’ performance
in English writing skills· Students who received educational exercises focusing on active learning skills showed a significant improvement in their ability to express themselves in written English more effectively and accurately· The results indicate the importance of integrating active learning skills into English language teaching practices for preparatory stage students, highlighting the need to include these skills in language education curricula to enhance students’ performance in English writing skills·
