Abstract
In this research, we seek to analyze the descriptive scene and its representations in the course of the novel "The Small Facts of Life" by the novelist Louay Hamza Abbas, and its semantic leads and intentions implicit under narrative formats, and we benefit from the analytical approach to reach the desired significance of the novelist, Through it, we monitor the presence of the description in several forms, and how the narrative text is built and it takes several aspects to draw the descriptive process, to keep the reader away from boredom, so he takes the description as a reclining to pull and attract the reader, as well as other goals monitored by the decorative research and others, and to reveal what the novelist was interested in from the descriptions in his novel to form a dominant narrative value on the narrated text without others.
