Abstract
1_ There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the students-teachers of the experimental group who underwent the training program according to the skills of the twenty-first century and the average scores of the students-teachers of the control group who did not undergo the training program in the collection of science subject(
2_ There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the students-teachers of the experimental group who underwent the training program according to the skills of the twenty-first century and the average scores of the students-teachers of the control group whose teachers did not undergo the training program in the imaginative thinking scale.
The researcher adopted the experimental approach, as she used the experimental design with partial control in two equal groups, one experimental and the other control, with a post-test for achievement and an imaginative thinking scale. The researcher randomly selected the research sample to conduct the experiment from the community of (45) male and female students for the academic year 2021_2022, and (23) male and female students were selected using a simple random drawing method, and they were divided into. The sample of the students consisted of fifth grade primary students who included their students in the research sample for the control and experimental groups, as their number reached (4210) male students. A sample consisting of (5) students from the fifth grade of primary school for each applied in the research sample was taken (by simple random drawing method) other than the students who failed in their class from last year to apply the training program to student teachers who will be applied in the schools of Babil Governorate Center in Second Semester.
The two research groups of student teachers were rewarded in the variables (chronological age, achievement in the subject of methods of teaching science for the third stage and achievement in the observation subject). The research represented by (identifying scientific material, formulating behavioral objectives, preparing teaching plans), and the researcher also prepared the first research tool represented by the achievement test, which consisted of (20) test items of the type of objective tests. The researcher has a coefficient of difficulty, the power of distinguishing the paragraphs, and the effectiveness of the alternatives. The stability of the achievement test items was also found in two ways, which are the half-partition, which amounted to (0.90) and Kweder Richardson, which amounted to (0.86). The second tool is the scale of imaginative thinking, which consists of (30) A paragraph, and the apparent validity, constructive validity, and discriminatory power were verified, and its stability was calculated using the re-test method, and it amounted to (0.97), and the experiment was applied in the second semester of the academic year (2021_ 2022) and over a period of (9) weeks, as the experiment began on Sunday corresponding to (27_ 2_ 2022) and ended on Sunday (17_ 4_ 2022), and the data was processed statistically using appropriate statistical methods
The results of the research showed the superiority of the student teachers in the experimental group over the students of the teacher students in the control group in the science achievement test as well as in the scale of imaginative thinking. In light of the research results, the researcher presented a set of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
