The texts and titles written on the Ashkan coins, most of which are written in Greek, had political, family and national dimensions as well as sectarian dimensions, and all of these things show us the extent of their importance which coins enjoyed at the time, in addition to their economic and commercial role, coins were an important tool and means for delivering the messages of the Ashkan kings to different societies and peoples.
