Abstract

    The study included joint cooperation between the Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Iraq in the social and cultural fields. This cooperation included several aspects, such as education, as the two countries were interested in attending Arab conferences such as the Arab Ministers of Education Conference held in Baghdad in 1964, and sending Iraqi missions to Egypt for training in its factories. And its schools, and cultural cooperation dealt with two forms, Arab and bilateral. Arab cooperation was through joining the agreements concluded within the framework of the Arab League, such as the Charter of Arab Cultural Unity on February29, 1964, And the agreement regarding the establishment of the Civil Aviation Council for Arab States on March 21, 1965. Despite the two countries’ accession to the Arab cultural agreements, the cooperation between them remained limited to Arab cooperation, and was not developed into bilateral cultural cooperation،The two countries also joined bilateral agreements, such as the Media Cooperation Protocol between Egypt and Iraq on July 5, 1986 and the Scientific and Technological Cooperation Agreement on July 7, 1988, thus.
