Abstract

The research paper is a study, translation, and analysis of four unpublished cuneiform texts of unknown origin, confiscated and now preserved in the Iraqi Museum that date back to the ancient Babylonian era based on the historical formulas contained in three of them. In addition, the shape of the font confirms its attribution to that time period.

As for the contents of these texts, the first one included sending an envoy to its owner; while the second text was about receiving an amount of silver. As for the third text, it deals with income for the quantity of plowshares net but the last one which is the fourth text is about a message that included the purchase of a specific amount of flax.
