Abstract

     The current paper aims to investigate  the extent to which Arabic language teachers practice fast learning skills while teaching . The current study  is limited to Arabic language teachers in middle and secondary schools in the center of Maysan Governorate for the academic year (2021-2022). The  population  of the study include  365  teachers and a sample of  (70 ) teachers was randomly chosen. As a study tool  The researcher  created an observation note  card to fulfill  the  aim of the study .The note card  consisted of four main skill fields   ; namely (preparation skill, presentation skill, exercise skill, performance skill) .(53) items were included in the card note  distributed as  (17) items for the preparation skill, (14) items for the presentation skill, (10) items for the exercise skill, and (12) for the performance skill. Face validity  of the  study tool was verified by jury members  . The reliability of the tool was also verified in two ways: the reliability  over time was (0.91 %) and the  interrater reliability  was (0.89% ). Then it was applied to the original sample, which consisted of (70) male and female teachers, and the results of the research were treated statistically using the program (spss) and by using the weighted mean, percentage weight, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Holsty's equation .The results of the research showed that the members of the research sample, teachers of the Arabic language, have a good level of performance in using most of the rapid learning skills that they need, and that the level of their application  of these skills is appropriate to the lesson situation, the number of students, the size of the class, and the appropriate conditions for the learning process ,Most of them focus on the use of skills that are related to testing information, whether at the beginning, during or at the end of the learning process. The use of some practices during teaching requires material and moral capabilities, whether inside or outside the classroom.

In light of the results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and proposals.
